EDANZ is a membership based organisation with various stakeholders who all have a role in stimulating sustainable economic development and increasing prosperity in regional and local communities. Our members are the regional and local Economic Development Agencies (EDAs) throughout New Zealand and other significant stakeholders are local government and the central government agencies that influence and contribute to economic development.

EDANZ works with central and local government to help grow New Zealand businesses. Its members are significant influencers and players within the economic development space; controlling a budget in excess of $100m; a staff of almost five hundred and possessing a presense in every city, region and rural centre of New Zealand. The national, regional and local economic development agencies are part of the network helping businesses to meet the exporting challenge.
